The client was a private hospital group based in Australia. At the time of the engagement, 5 hospitals were under the groups’ ownership.
Designed and implemented a business transformation program following the stalled implementation of a new Patient Information Management System (PIMS). The new program’s approach and design resulted in the benefits such as:
- bed-state accuracy improvement and corresponding improvement in billing generation timelines
- nursing productivity gains from improved operational procedures fully utilising PIMS supplied data
- improved financial management and forecasting from the organisation’s ICT business unit.
